More Q2 Pictures

Looking down the last aisle of quilts toward the playing card exhibit. On the right wall out of sight are the challenge quilts and the summer challenge called Fractured Fotos.
A lovely little grouping in the corner where Ann's doll sits, postcards by Lori are on the table. and wallhangings by Stephanie, Kathy and Nancy are on the wall. The lovely red star quilt is one Leslie did - she is our president and this year's feature quilter. Many of her quilts are in the hall and I will post some of them plus her picture later on. Here is my Lollipop Trees in a Field of Jelly Beans. This was a fun one and done with Kaffee Fassett fabrics. Julie's 7 of hearts - note the heart in each day of the week. Another playing card - I'm sorry I don't know who to give the credit for this one. Karen's queen of diamonds - neat! Linda's king of diamonds. The stripes are all paper pieced.

The smiling face on the right is Janna. Janna is the one who figures out where to hang what and she does a fabulous job. With her is Nancy, who was there helping with the setup.

wow, those playing cards are really creative and a lot of work really went into alot of them. They were very elaborate. They were a lot of fun and great entertainment for the quilt show i think. Kathy and Stephanie had a great idea with this one. They really always do, don't they. Melissa called me today while i was in Lansing and said that the show was quite successful so far. I am glad for that, aren't you! See you tomorrow!
