Icicles II

Finished quilting and binding this little piece. Batiks are one of my favorite things in the quilting world and I also love the way paper piecing gives you such lovely sharp points without much trouble at all. Love the colors in this one and the quilting turned out nicely. It's hard for me to come up with a pattern to quilt a piece with, but once I have it figured out it works out pretty well. This is my favorite block in the little hanging - love the fabrics so much. Pretty, Pretty, Pretty, Carol. You did a wonderful job of grouping fabrics and colors.

Great quilt! The more I see batik's, the more I like them.

I really like the optical effect of this pattern, especially in batiks.

Carol, your machine quilting on these pieces is very good. I better get my batts together and start practicing! Looking forward to another session of Patsy Thompson's DVD's with the feathers!
