I love these old motto pictures from the 1920's .

This is the start of my collection - my daughter gave it to me for my birthday sometime after 1972. I love the art, the poem, the frame and the person who gave it to me. Whenever I would go to antique stores or shows I would buy any of these that I could find and afford. I was also on the lookout for chamber pots, some of which I have posted in this blog.


I especially like the poem on this little picture. Will post more at a later date. If you look on the sidebar for Antique Pictures under labels, you can look at some more of these that I posted earlier

You have a very nice collection, Carol. I see where Midland is hosting an Antique Festival next weekend. If the weather is nice perhaps i will go. Leif and I are going up north tonight to stay at the log cabin and then on to Traverse City tomorrow. He has a seminar and i have quilt shops to visit. I found a few new ones to go to even. Fun, Fun, for me. I will let you know if/when i make any purchases. lol
