The pretty picture frame above - I did not make it although it could be made quite easily if you have lots of pretty buttons and some sweet old pictures. This is one of the pins on my Pinterest board "Button, Button". Since I haven't anything else to show right now, I will post a few cute things that you can do with buttons if you have them and have the urge to create.
If you would like to check out my Pinterest Boards, click on the button at the top of my sidebar. Go to "Button, Button" and see lots of other pretty things and ideas. You can also check the sources of these items.

Fabric flies sometimes when I am trying to make decisions while working on quilts. Everything kind of falls where it may. Yesterday I bought some backing for this little quilt (it's hanging off the bed at the left) and I wasn't sure how I would finish the little piece.

Sherry just got back from spending two weeks in Africa with Hannah! She had a wonderful time! Hannah now has the capabilities for skyping so I think we will skype with her on Wednesday. What a world!!
Here are two of my favorite girls - my daughter and her youngest daughter. Wonderful picture of the two of them. Sher brought home some wonderful photos of her trip.
I have continued to progress on the little quilt and now have almost all of the applique done - it's all laid out on the bed ready to be sewn together. This was taken before some of the final applique was finished. I am very happy with it. This is almost the exact size of Henry's train quilt and equally fun to work on.

I most certainly didn't want to go anyplace today - and I didn't have much in the way of something yummy. I have been trying not to buy candy but do keep ice cream in the freezer! It was gone so had the makings for a recipe found on Pinterest. So very easy and pretty darned good without being too terribly full of calories and I don't think much fat. Are you ready?
1 can crushed pineapple with juice
1 box instant vanilla pudding
1 tub lite kool whip or store brand
Put the pineapple, juice included, in a bowl. Add the pudding. Mix it up, Then fold in the tub of whipped topping and chill. How easy is that? It reminds me of the orange salad I posted here quite some time ago but this is no hassle. It would be yummy on a slice of angel food or pound cake. Some drained, chopped up maraschino cherries would be good in it and even sliced bananas could be added. Anyway, it's yummy!

I did want to show you the little bag I fixed up to put the little quilt in - and the cars, also.

I have been thinking and looking around for what I want to use in the baby quilt I am going to make for my second great grandchild. Today I decided on the little animals that would go in the quilt and have printed out the ones that I will use for patterns. Also, in the basement I have gathered up some fabric which I will add a few pieces to and I think then I will be good to go.
